Spectacular Multi-Colored Giant Squirrels Seen in Kodaikanal Forest Town, Tamil Nadu, India

Squirrels are no longer unfamiliar to humans. Thousands of photographs of these adorable little fuzzy companions may be found on the Internet. You may get up up and personal with them if you visit parks and reserves. These hyperactive creatures are even kept as pets.

However when it turns to Shekru, a colorful gigantic squirrel, everything changes. It is unique to India and has black, brown, orange, maroon, and purple patterns. This stunning garment not only distinguishes them from the throng, but also allows them to blend in with the tree tops.

The Malabar gigantic squirrel is well-known for its “large” size. From its head to its brightly blue bushy tail, it may grow to be 3 feet long.

These incredibly attractive squirrels are rarely seen in people’s homes. They spend the most of their time leaping from one tree to the next. Flowers, wood, seeds, and insects are among their favorite foods. They will even consume bird eggs if they are accessible. Their long tails greatly aid them in their search for food.
