The Human Mother Saves The Siamese Kitten From A Busy Road And Adopts It

Pattie, a kind-hearted woman, was driving along a lonely road in Florida late at night when she noticed a cat lying in the middle of the road. She retreats and rushes back, terrified, only to discover a malnourished kitten, which was so weak she could not move either.

Pattie caught the weak form of life in her arms and took it to the other vet, calling her Lily.

Pattie did everything she could for Lily, despite the fact that she only had a little time to care for her. She was well aware that she would be unable to pay the continuing expenses that caring for the sick cat would entail.

So she contacted Cat Man Chris in Tampa Bay, Florida, who connected her with a willing rescue in the shape of St. Frances Society Animal Rescue, who were more than delighted to help with Lilly’s care.

Chris was a busy guy, especially during the kitten unfinished season in Florida, but there was something in Lily’s melancholy eyes that Chris could not remove from his head.
As a result, he kept in touch with Pattie, trying to find the best way to care for the vulnerable kitten.

Because of the kitten’s acute anemia, his life was in jeopardy. For any animal, let alone a skin-and-bones kitten, this is a life-threatening sickness.

As a result, Lily was kept under supervision at Westchase Veterinary Center.

Because she was not moving, X-rays were conducted to examine whether she had any broken bones. Fortunately, she was confirmed to be in good health.

She is now being examined for toxoplasmosis, a parasitic infection that can cause neurological problems. The best news is that now that she is being fed by hand, she is gaining weight!

Pattie saw Lily on a regular basis and posted updates on her growth on Facebook.

The small Siamese, according to her veterinarian, is a little warrior. She is in such bad shape that she will start steroid therapy today and have her antibiotics adjusted. She continues to eat and appears to be more aware of her surroundings, though she is still unable to move.

Lily and her adoptive mother, Pattie, are now snuggling and resting on a daily basis. She’s also started to walk about more, and she’s acquired a new companion in Rosa, another rescue cat, with whom she’s rapidly become great friends.

She and her new foster sister are frequently seen together.

Their personalities have emerged as a result of having another kitten in recovery. Why not do them both at the same time?! These two need socialization with both other cats and people.

Lily has also begun practicing leg strengthening exercises in the bath, which she doesn’t particularly enjoy but tolerates. She did try to run away once she got out of the water, so that must have helped her.

Rosa is starting to explore and play, though she still likes to cuddle with her best friend Lily.

Lily is still quiet, but she eats and goes to the bathroom like a champ!

When Lily finds her permanent home, the hope is that her new family will see her link with Rosa and adopt them both.

Pattie, Cat Man Chris, St. Francis Society Animal Rescue, and Andrea are to be commended for saving a lonely little cat that was on the point of being abandoned on the side of the road.

I’m looking forward to seeing where your path takes you!
