Chipmunk Litter’s Adorable Kittens Find Forever Homes

The Chipmunk Litter, a bunch of foster cats from Austin, Texas, tells their story.

Fixinsforkittens, an Austin, Texas-based kitten fostering organization, posted a photo of a “beautiful pair” on Instagram. Two kittens from a litter called “the Chipmunk Litter” were adopted by a happy couple of guys.

“An equally attractive human pair adopted little boy Pana and his sibling Sonoma as a pair,” the organization wrote.

Previously, the males had come to visit the kittens in the hopes of adopting one. They eventually concluded that they needed to bring both of them home with them.

“These gentlemen came to visit the kittens last week to choose one, but they couldn’t choose between the two.” We were ecstatic when they phoned back to say they wanted to adopt BOTH!!”

Adopting a pair usually works out well since they have a playmate and companion.

The foster family released a lovely video of Pana and Sonoma when they initially arrived during the summer in a video. Mama was discovered in a muddy construction site in the area of the foster family.

“It’s really cute to see them go out on their own adventures and then return back to snuggle together.”

The skinny mother cat was quite welcoming when they investigated. They eventually picked up all of the babies and bottle-fed them to supplement breastfeeding while the cat regained strength and parasites were removed.

“Mama cat is a healthy eater, but she isn’t generating enough milk on her own.” She appears to be a teen mother, perhaps 1-2 years old herself. You should all spay and neuter your pets. They wrote, “This will be her final litter.”

The mom cat moved the kittens to a charming cardboard taco truck, where they were well-fed and comfy. The kittens twitched their ears while they nursed, indicating that they were well nourished.

“Mama moved her children to the taco truck!” She must already be planning to put them to work in the family company. Mama, you’ve instilled in children a strong work ethic.”

The Mama later moved the mewing kittens near the taco truck to an open chest of drawers. After that, they opened a nightclub in a heated cat-shaped cozy.

The Chipmunk Bunch’s names are derived from distinct chipmunk species that each kitten closely resembles. (Wasn’t it surprising that there were so many chipmunks?)

The Mama, on the other hand, got her moniker from the bigger Sierra Madre ground squirrel.

Hopi, Siski, Pana, Cliff, Sonoma, and Uinta are the kittens, while Sierra Madre is the mom cat. Isn’t that adorable and clever? They believe that Siski, the smallest of the lot, has the most personality. Unfortunately, she had a limb abnormality that was subsequently determined to be fractured by veterinarians. The “little scragglemuffin,” on the other hand, is tough and gets regular veterinarian treatment.

“They were inspired by the striped forest critters they resemble…chipmunks!”

The organization previously posted a video of the mom cat teaching tiny Pana how to climb the stairs.

The infants have discovered their first sunshine and are unable to get enough of it. I just sat and watched them while drinking a cup of tea. It’s very sweet to witness these small animals wonder at the world every day. Every day, they offer me a gift that reminds me to do the same.”

Amazing, and perhaps a sign of things to come.

All of the Chipmunk Litter has now been adopted. Pickles, their sweet and careful mother, now lives with a black cat named Pumpkin.

Siski, on the other hand, is still in foster care and will be for some time. They want to keep a tight check on her because of her limb and diminutive stature. She will eventually need surgery, but for the time being, she scoots, climbs stairs, and “purrs the instant she is taken up.”
