The Oldest Cat Alive Who Recently Reached 30 Broke A New Guinness Record

Mansfield, Texas is a town in the state of Texas. A 30-year-old Siamese cat has broke the Guinness World Record for the oldest living cat. Scooter is his name, and he was born on March 26, 1986.

Since then, he has lived with his owner Gail Floyd, who has grown old with him. Scooter, on the other hand, is in very decent form for his age. He shattered his leg a year and a half ago, which was his greatest health concern. He still has to go to treatment for it, even if he is OK today. Aside from that event, he is a highly lively cat that is full of life and activity. “Scooter is definitely a remarkable cat, with a tremendous will to survive,” his doctor adds.

Since he was a kitten, Gail has tried to keep him active. She has taken him on travels, and he has now visited 45 of the 50 states in the United States. “He enjoys seeing different locations and meeting new people,” she says. She even trained him to ride on her shoulders so he could accompany her everywhere she went.

Cordury, a 26-year-old cat from Oregon, held the title of oldest cat living before Scooter. Despite the fact that Scooter now holds the record, he still has 8 years left to break the record for the oldest cat ever. Creme Puff, who lived to be 38 years and 3 days old, holds the record.

An owner must submit documentation of the cat’s lifespan, such as films showing the aging process over time, as well as witness statements, in order to keep a record. We’re hearing more and more stories of cats living longer and longer lives. It feels like a luxury to be able to care for and share a life with one of these older cats as long as they are happy and enjoying life. Maybe they don’t want to go because they are cared for and cherished. Scooter, on the other hand, we wish him a good and calm life…
