Rescuers Save A Cat With Her Neck Taped And Give Her A Much Deserved Second Chance In Life

Every day, we are outraged to witness images of individuals performing horrible atrocities on animals. Some just abandon them on the streets, while others go much farther.

Take, for example, this Californian cat. It was dumped on the street with a tape roll around her neck, clearly in need of cat. The poor cat was hardly able to meow and was plainly weak. Fortunately, several passers-by noticed it on the street and promptly contacted Animal Rescue.

Because the cat was evidently terrified of humans, it took a long time for him to be apprehended. They set up a trap for the cat by hiding it behind a vehicle. The rescuers waited for an hour before deciding that catching the cat with a net was the best option. After a hard fight, it was a success, and he went off to the vet.

The tape roll was removed with the use of sedatives. The neck underneath was a mess, so it had definitely been there for a time. The cat was in horrible form and required a lot of medication, and it was dehydrated and underweight to make matters worse.

It was put to rest overnight after a quick procedure. The next day, the cat was much better and appreciative for the assistance. Valentine was given to it since it was saved on Valentine’s Day. Valentine was placed in a foster family a few weeks later, when his behavior began to improve.

The cat appeared to be in need of affection and care, which his foster parents provided on a daily basis. He now has his own Facebook profile, which his mother and father update on a daily basis.
