Trying To Find The Cat In This Christmas Tree Is Proving To Be A Lot Of Fun

Lucifer has been a touch naughty since he was a kitten, and his antics have always kept his mother on her toes. His mum has had to make some alterations to her holiday decorating routine over the years since one of his favorite things to do around the holidays is screw about with the Christmas tree.

“Every year he’s in the tree,” Lucifer’s mother, Kathryn Welsh, told The Dodo. “I had to give up on obtaining a genuine tree since he was such a monster.” Drinking the water from the tree and knocking stuff off of it. As he’s become older, he’s come to believe that hiding and then pounce when you least expect it is more fun.”

Welsh was recently sitting in front of the Christmas tree, appreciating the new decorations for this year, when she suddenly realized she wasn’t alone. She glanced about and couldn’t find Lucifer… until she discovered the cunning cat.

“It simply felt like I was being watched,” Welsh added. “We locked eyes after that – he thought he was being so sneaky.”

When Welsh eventually discovered Lucifer hidden in the Christmas tree and decided to take a picture, she couldn’t help but giggle. She shared the photo on Facebook so that others may try to find Lucifer — and so yet, no one has been able to find him.

“It’s been amusing reading the comments since people have had a hard time finding him,” Welsh remarked. “I’ve also exhibited the photo at work; it’s been a lot of fun, just like [Lucifer].”

Welsh is overjoyed that Lucifer’s antics amuse everyone else as much as they amuse her. He undoubtedly contributed to the spread of holiday happiness, and he will undoubtedly do so again each time he hides in the tree and attempts to surprise his mother.
