A Man Spends Seven Hours Rescuing Kittens Buried Behind A Pile Of Wood
Cliff knew he needed to act swiftly when he heard faint meowing coming from a pile of wood inside a trash.
He noticed a poor kitten clinging to fragments of wood, attempting to scream for assistance. He quickly discovered that there were still more kittens. Clearly, these kittens were in danger.
Cliff’s initial action was to roll up his sleeves and set to work attempting to save the kittens. He dug down through piles of wood and steel for a total of seven hard and arduous hours only to save them.
One of the kittens died in the end, but the others were gratefully saved and given the second shot at life that they so urgently needed.
These poor, forlorn kittens were so young that their eyes had only just opened. They need care and attention 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Watching Over Whiskers, a Springfield, Missouri-based animal rescue group, chose to take them in and care for them.
The rescue workers fed them and made sure they had all they needed to grow up healthy and strong. These adorable tiny ones even have a new’mama,’ Roxy, a rescue cat. Roxy takes excellent care of them on a daily basis. All of the kittens were ready for adoption in no time.
