Kitten Astounds Dad With Her Reaction To ‘Lion King’ Scene

Mika is a kind kitty that is always willing to lend a helping hand to her pals.

Mika, on the other hand, doesn’t merely engage with the animals in her home. All felines, including animated ones, are cared for by the gentle kitten.

Mika is the tiniest of her three siblings, but she knows how to make a statement. Mika’s owner, Nuzair, who asked that his last name not be used, told The Dodo, “She really enjoys attention, and she never stops to rest.”

Mika stepped up on the desk to join Nuzair in front of his computer as he was watching animated Disney movies. Nuzair believed it was the ideal opportunity to put his kitten’s empathy to the test.

“I thought of playing the Mufasa death scene [from ‘The Lion King’] because I remember watching some videos on YouTube where dogs are crying during that scene,” Nuzair said. “At first, she was distracted by the sounds of the speakers but when she settled in, I started filming it.”

Nuzair wasn’t sure how Mika would react, but Simba’s anguish at losing his dad moved her.

Mika stood up straight, obviously captivated, as Simba neared Mufasa, and began pawing at the screen. “My mother was with me at the time, and we were both shocked to witness it happen,” Nuzair added. “The scenario is quite dramatic, and Mika’s attempt to console Simba is particularly poignant.”

“I was astonished but also saddened to witness that,” he continued.
