He Took A Stray Kitten Under His Arm And Let Her Inside After Finding Her On His Porch

Alice McColl, a local homeowner, once noticed a stray cat loitering outside her home with her family and decided to give it some food and drink. Shortly after, the cat returned with two kittens in tow.

Alice hoped the small family would come back, however, sadly only one white kitten, Birdie, showed up! Her resident Tuxedo, Otley, was entranced by the tiny feline, and kept a close eye on the goings on.

Shortly after, Otley was given the opportunity to meet Birdie on Alice’s porch.

The tiny feline was initially highly cautious of the larger cat and approached him with caution.

He won her over right away with his friendliness, and before long she was following him inside.

After seeing how friendly the two cats were, Alice decided this friendship was meant to be and decided this was the kitten’s new home.

The two grew close over the following several days, with Otley taking up the chore of washing Birdie after which they were frequently seen hugging and snuggling all throughout the house.

Birdie has definitely become the Yin to Otley’s Yang as the two cats still remain very close. Birdie landed on all four paws after meeting Alice and Otley and very much become part of the family.

He really seems happy to have a friend to spend the day with, and she just adores him and follows him around,” Alice said.

Wherever Otley goes you can be sure that Birdie will be close behind.

Alice made the right decision in adopting Birdie, in the process ensuring he will have a forever friend. In an update, Alice shared we can see the love affair continues.

“These two are still very happy and healthy at home together,” said Alice. “They eat together, sleep together and play together, and just basically completely inseparable at this point. They have an unbreakable friendship and it is so cute.”
